Located high in the picturesque Savoie Alps of South East France, the beautiful Chalet Nichoir provides the inspiration for our seven-day residential courses. These have been designed to arm you with a level of culinary skills that will give you the confidence to create scrumptious cakes, stylish canapés, mouth watering desserts and even sensational 4-course gourmet dinner parties. Our aim is to leave no stones unturned in your quest for knowledge so, along the way, you'll be taught table presentation, wine selection. chalet hospitality and much more in readiness for paid employment as an Alpine chalet host.
Now already in its ninth-year, our carefully structured course syllabus revolves around a genuine chalet routine and provides more cooking time than comparable Alpine culinary courses. Although there is plenty of time for leisure, you can expect to cook every day under the supervision of our expert tutors. You'll also be able to learn other valuable aspects of chalet management and, if required, will be offered assistance in finding employment.
