What better way can there be to spend your gap year than to attend a residential course at the Chalet Cookery School and by securing a job during the winter ski season as a chalet host an cook?

The intensive week-long course takes place at the beautiful Chalet Amuse Bouche in Morzine surrounded by the magnificent scenery and clean air of the high French Alps? You will be tutored by experienced DofE instructors who will help you qualify for the Gold stage of the Award. You will also be taught the fundamental skills necessary to prepare you for a coveted seasonal role in the ski industry as a chalet host and cook.

After finishing the course, you will return home with a range of useful skills and attributes you can use in real time in the culinary, catering and ski industry.
